The evaluation of process performance in the mining industry, especially in mineral processing units, is based on the use of formulas and sometimes complex and lengthy relationships. Microsoft Excel software, as one of the main tools for calculations and data analysis in science and industry, has always been widely used by engineers and researchers. Despite its diverse capabilities, this software lacks many specialized relationships required in the field of mineral processing; a deficiency that has forced many engineers to spend a lot of time writing complex formulas and combining general functions. This process is not only prone to computational errors and mistakes resulting from unit conversions and incorrect interpretation of relationships, but also reduces the accuracy and efficiency of performing specialized calculations. Therefore, developing a tool that can provide users with standard and correct mineral processing relationships in the form of ready-made and reliable functions is a tangible necessity in the field of mining engineering and related industries. In this study, to meet this need, a specialized Excel add-in was designed that currently provides more than 50 key mineral processing relationships in the form of ready-made functions. The steps involved extracting and accurately evaluating relationships from reliable sources, implementing these relationships with the C# programming language, compiling a user guide, and publishing the add-in on the GitHub platform. The result of this activity is an add-in that, after installation, adds a dedicated section to Excel functions called Mineral Processing and enables simple and fast use of specialized mineral processing relationships. This add-in provides an effective step in improving the accuracy, speed, and reliability of mineral processing calculations by facilitating access to reliable relationships and reducing the possibility of error.
